05 Aug 2014

Aspen Avionics announced today they have improved and re-released the EA100 to Century IIB / III interface. The approved interface is shown in our most recent EFD1000/500 Installation Manual revision AW which is available on the Aspen Dealer Ramp website. Navigate to the technical resources tab located on the top of the page to access the installation manual.

This update only applies to installations of the EA100 with Century IIB / III autopilots and equivalent systems with the Piper branding that are identical to the Century IIB / III, the ACU interface is unchanged.

EA100 kits with a variety of ethernet cable lengths are available.

Please note: There are specific installation requirements for the EA100 to Century IIB / III autopilot interface, be sure to review the installation manual details and parts required in paragraphs 5.0 thru 5.5 in appendix E of the installation manual before providing installation quotes. ALWAYS perform a thorough autopilot functional/flight test before beginning any EA100 project.
