08 Jul 2014

Aspen revealed today that the EA100 autopilot adapter is now capable of emulating the Century 52D166, 52D167, 52D266, 52D267, 52C77 attitude indicators and is compatible with and approved for the Century IV autopilots as well as the Piper Altimatic branded autopilots that are identical to the Century IV.

This certification is in addition to the previously certified Century 21, 31, 41, 2000 and 4000 as described in the EFD1000/500 Installation Manual revision AV.

Certification of the Century II / III interfaces to the EA100 is underway and expected in the near future.

EA100 kits with a variety of ethernet cable lengths are available.

Please note: There are specific installation requirements for the Century IV autopilot to EA100 interface, installers should be sure to review the installation details and parts required in paragraphs 5.0 thru 5.5 in appendix E of the installation manual before providing installation quotes. Installers should ALWAYS perform a thorough autopilot functional/flight test before beginning your EA100 project.
