Garmin joins Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to give an airplane makeover

GARMIN:  In a marketing memo to dealers, Garmin’s Jim Alpiser, Director of Aviation Aftermarket Sales, announced that Garmin had recently teamed with ABC’s popular reality show Extreme Makeover: Home
Edition to help a Florida family get the airplane makeover they need and deserve.  Garmin helped refurbish a 1970 Cessna Skymaster with “a G500, dual GNS 430Ws, GMA 347, GTX 330, and an aera 500. A team from Orlando Aircraft worked around the clock to rewire and install the new panel in three days”. The episode was aired Sunday Feb 13 at 8/7c on ABC.  You can watch the full episode at ABC’s website here.  Way to go, Garmin!!
