Pentagon selects Boeing for $35B contract to build future tankers

The Pentagon announced on Thursday that it had selected Boeing as the winner of a long and tumultuous bidding battle for a $35 billion contract to build 179 aerial refueling tankers for the Air Force.  The move will insure steady aviation growth in the U.S. for the next decade.
